I grew up on the edge of Melbourne, Australia, lived in Sydney for a while, and later on an island in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand.
Now I live in an old cottage called Thelma in Melbourne, and in a beach shack on Waiheke Island for some of the year.
I work part-time for the State Library of Victoria, and on the other days I’m undertaking my PhD at La Trobe University. In my spare time I write, read, workout then have to lie down, watch Buffy, sit about staring at nothing, and do an awful lot of gardening. Not necessarily in that order.
I have a BA in Professional Writing and Editing and Master of Arts (Literature).
Read my answers to some questions people often ask me.
Read some recent interviews and media.
