War Songs (in progress) is a novel for adults set in a Casualty Clearing Station just outside Albert in the Somme Valley during World War One.

It’s the story of an Australian Red Cross ambulance driver, Kate Flanagan, and a young English volunteer nurse, Georgina La Motte; their friends Chook, Minnie and Clara; and a young officer, Eddy, who becomes obsessed with George and whose actions affect them all.
